Undergraduate Degree – University of Georgia, Class of 2021
I graduated summa cum laude with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia in May 2021 with degrees in Entertainment & Media Studies (A.B.J.) and German (B.A.), a minor in Transnational European Studies, and certificates in Interdisciplinary Writing and Digital Humanities. In my time as an undergraduate, I was inducted into the Blue Key Honor Society and the Alpha Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, awarded the George M. Abney Award (for one graduating Honors student with the most impressive record in the College of Journalism & Mass Communication) and the Cecil B. Willcox Award (for one Outstanding German Major in each graduating class), and honored as a Top 75 Student Employee at the University of Georgia for my work in the Brown Media Archives & Peabody Awards Collection. I also graduated with the Center for Undergraduate Research Graduation Distinction for my substantial independent research, including my undergraduate Honors thesis. During my time at the University of Georgia, I served as a Grady Ambassador for the College of Journalism & Mass Communication and president of the German Student Organization.
